Cooperation among international partners is the key of the successes of CONCORDA project in the past four years of the Amsterdam Practical Test (PPA).
The trials provided new and improved services for road users with the aim of a better traffic flow, safer traffic and a cleaner city.
“Have stakeholders working with each other and in order to bring the synergy of systems and technology to the service of the user” said Johanna Tzanidaki, Innovation & Deployment director at ERTICO – ITS EUROPE, thus underlying the importance of integrating road side and in-car systems.
Further steps are required to finally guarantee full interoperability between communication and road management systems, but completing CONCORDA and SOCRATES 2.0 projects are solid grounds for success!
